November has barely begun and it's already shaping up to be one of the busiest ever! I celebrated my birthday with an amazing balloon ride over the glorious Staffordshire countryside, followed by a meal out and some quality family time.
The following Tuesday I launched a project that's been very close to me heart for an extremely long time. If you have kids at home or in your class at school who have learning differences such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia or Dyscalculia, or are simple struggling to learn using traditional methods, you are the reason I created the 'Creative Ways to Learn Times Tables' series.
I want children to know that it's ok if their brain works in a different way to someone else's. That we all learn in different ways!
By using a variety of methods to target all types of learners, from visual to kinesthetic and a whole heap of fun, your child can finally learn in a way that suits their needs. I know because I used these techniques with my boys and they are flying now!
The books include silly stories with ridiculous rhymes (illustrated in comic book strips - they can even watch videos of me reading the stories aloud on this website), colouring, creativity, puzzles and lots of really fun games and activities to get their bodies and minds moving!
I can't wait for other kids to start enjoying these books too! They're available now, so pop to the Little Unisaur Shop and take a peek inside.
I'm not finished yet though! If you love Arnold & Lou, our loveable and creative treefrog and anteater duo, you're in luck. They will be back VERY soon with a festive treat in the form of, 'Arnold & Lou's Rainforest Christmas'. Here's a fun little cover reveal for you...
There's more news still to come for this busy November, but for today I will say goodbye, and have a wonderful weekend.
Speak soon,
Francesca
