I had already read �The Crafty Chameleon� to my daughter and we were so happy to come across another delightful book from Francesca Watt. We read �The Christmas Crew� several nights in a row, and my little bookworm had so much fun watching the story unfold.

How ingenious on behalf of the author to bring some �unlikely heroes� to help Santa! I am sure kids will love seeing famous characters, such as the Tooth Fairy, Sandman, Easter Bunny and even Cupid joining forces to save Christmas. Everyone is working really hard to make sure the gifts are delivered on time.

This was such a fun read! With well-chosen rhymes and plenty of humor, the author offers a story that is perfect for the holidays. She also teaches young readers that one can achieve anything he/she wants, as long as he/she is determined and perseverant. Moreover, the help of good friends is always welcome!

The cute illustrations are done by the author herself, complimenting the story and capturing the attention of young readers. I really liked the idea behind the story, and how the author added a little snowman for kids to spot on every page. There are also some fun activities at the end of the book for kids to try. I was happy to discover that Francesca has created an activity book that is holiday themed, we are definitely going to try it as well.

This a must read for the holiday season! The kind of story that children will read over and over again, enjoying the fun rhymes and all the fun characters coming together to save the day. It was a great addition to our Christmas collection and we cannot wait to see the activity book!

We loved Francesca's latest book 'The Crafty Chameleon' so we were very excited to read Francesca's Christmas picture book.

We have thoroughly enjoyed reading this wonderful rhyming story over the last few nights and it is really getting us in the Christmas spirit (despite it only being October! It's never too early for Christmas right?!)

Reindeer flu has come to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. Luckily Santa has some good friends that save the day and deliver the presents, albeit in an unusual way! My daughter loved seeing The Tooth Fairy and The Easter Bunny incorporated into a Christmas story and my vehicle obsessed son loved the Christmas beach buggy that delivered the presents.

We loved the idea that the Christmas Crew might have left clues behind so we knew they had helped Santa.

'Did you find golden grains of sand?

Or the sparkle of fairy dust in your hand?

Maybe you found little chocolate droppings?

Or magical gift bubbles ready for popping?'

As always Francesca 's illustrations are full of fun and have so much fabulous detail that we spend ages discussing each page. My son loved trying to spot the Snowman on every page and my daughter loved cracking the secret code at the end of the book. Such great additions!

A lovely addition to our Christmas picture book collection that we will be reading A lot in the run up to Christmas!

I adored this sweet Christmas book! The illustrations are very cute and brightly coloured which is sure to capture the attention of young readers. I love the rhyming story as well and the way the text is laid out with some phrases in bold. I like the inclusion of some other famous characters, like the tooth fairy, Sandman and the Easter bunny etc. who all join together to save Christmas. I really like the idea behind this story and it was very well-executed. There is a little snowman to spot on every page as well as fun activities at the end of the book. This would make a wonderful Christmas gift for kids. There is even an activity book that goes with it, so definitely recommend getting them together!

The Christmas Crew has an interactive piece where readers can search for the hidden snowman among the pages! So fun to play search and find with your little one.
